Good News: Livestock Card Third Installment 2026 How to Receive Your Payment

The CM Punjab Livestock Card 2026 isn’t a cash handout. It’s a practical, farmer-focused credit facility created to help with everyday livestock expenses. When people mention the “third installment,” they’re talking about the third monthly credit limit added to the card. This amount can be used to purchase essentials such as Wanda (animal feed), silage, and mineral supplements.

As of January 2026, the third installment is being released for farmers who used their first two installments properly and completed all required checks. If your record is clear, the process usually moves without delays.

How to Receive the 3rd Installment

This installment is not paid as cash. Instead, it appears as usable credit on your Livestock Card.

If you have already received your card and used the earlier installments, the Bank of Punjab (BOP) automatically loads the third month’s credit onto your card. No new application is required.

Your livestock must be properly tagged and verified by the local Livestock Department or the Urban Unit team. If verification is incomplete or pending, the installment will be blocked.

The credit can only be used at BOP-authorized dealers. A list of approved dealers in your tehsil is available at nearby Veterinary Hospitals or through the official helpline.

Payment Structure and Installment Details

The loan amount is released in four equal monthly installments. For farmers registered with the maximum limit of 10 animals, the structure generally looks like this:

  • Total loan amount: Rs. 270,000
  • Installments 1 and 2: Already issued in previous months
  • Third installment (Jan/Feb 2026): Around Rs. 67,500 as credit
  • Total repayment period: 150 days
  • Interest rate: 0% (interest-free)

Eligibility for the Third Installment

To make sure your third installment is released smoothly, keep the following points in check.

Your mobile number must be active in the Livestock Department’s 9211 system. Your calves or cows should be present at the location provided during the initial survey, as random inspections are conducted before the third and fourth installments. You must also use at least 70% of the previous month’s credit limit to qualify for the next installment.

How to Check Your Balance or Installment Status

If you haven’t received any notification about the third installment, you can check your status in a few simple ways.

Send your CNIC number (without dashes) to 8070 via SMS. You can also visit any Bank of Punjab ATM to check the available credit limit on your Livestock Card. For direct assistance, call the Livestock Department’s 24/7 helpline at 0800-09211.

Pro tip: If your card shows as inactive, it’s often due to missing biometric verification. Visiting your nearest Bank of Punjab branch with your original CNIC usually resolves this issue for the 2026 cycle.
